A 19th-century granite longère, damp and partitioned, to reinvent as a warm second home.
We reopened the volume around the original fireplace, brought back into use.

The stone walls were stripped of their cement render then repointed with lime, letting the house breathe.
A massive wood stove anchors the living room; the terracotta floors regain their patina.
The furniture, plain and rustic, lets the material speak.
